God: Who is the Guru?

The Yogis asked Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji - WHO IS YOUR GURU, WHOSE DISCIPLE YOU ARE? - Pauri 43, Sidh Gosht, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

The Guru replied - GOD'S WORD UTTERED BY HIM AT THE TIME OF CAUSING CREATION, CALLED SABAD, IS THE GURU. MY MIND ATTUNED TO THE WORD (TURNED LATER TO HIS LIGHT (JOT OR ATMAN OR SOUL), IS THE DISCIPLE. - Pauri 44, Sidh Gosht, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

"Without the Perfect Guru "Gur Poorey", no one is saved. This is what Baba Nanak says, after deep reflection. 2 . 11. "
(Guru Arjan, Rag Ramkali, p 886, Guru Granth Sahib)
"SALOK, MEHLA 2: "The key of the Guru opens the lock of attachment, in the house of the mind, under the roof of the body. O Nanak, without the Guru, the door of the mind cannot be opened. No one else holds the key in hand."
(Sarang ki Var - p. 1237)
Sri Guru Nanak Dev, Asa di Var, Pauri 6, page 466 -
"Without the True Guru, no one has obtained the Lord; without the True Guru, no one has obtained the Lord. He has placed Himself within the True Guru; revealing Himself, He declares this openly. Meeting the True Guru, eternal liberation is obtained; He has banished attachment from within. This is the highest thought, that one's consciousness is attached to the True Lord. Thus the Lord of the World, the Great Giver is obtained."
Be it remembered that under no circumstances worship of any human Guru is accepted, has been taught in the Sikh Scriptures. "Guru" clearly means God Himself in Sikh Scriptures. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee clearly stated, "Jo ham to parmesar ochar hai, so narak kund mein par hai. Mo ko dass tavan ka jano, ya mein ranch na bhed pachano. - Who so ever calls me Supreme God, he will be confined to the pit of hell. Consider me as the slave of Supreme God, do not have ANY DOUBT in my statement."

Sri Guru Armar Das Ji in Gujri ki Var, Slok M.3, page 509 states -

"My Master Lord is Eternal. He is seen by practicing Sabad - Word uttered by God, which turned into Guru Jot, verily God Himself. He never perishes; He does not come or go in reincarnation. So serve Him, forever and ever; He is contained in all. Why serve another who is born, and then dies? Fruitless is the life of those who do not know their Lord and Master, and who center their consciousness on others. O Nanak, it cannot be known, how much punishment the Creator shall inflict on them.1."
Followers of certain Splinter Sects in Sikhs, who have created their own living personal gurus, state that without the guidance of the living guru in person, no one can make any Spiritual progress, as they are totally engrossed in darkness of the knowledge and experience of the Living Sat Guru Poora in them. The Eternal Sat Guru Poora is the only Perfect Guide, Who is ever approachable all the 24 hours a day, without any search and difficulty - "Guru merai sang sada hai nalai." Such a Perfect Guide and Benefactor of all, abides in us. He is more near than any of our body organs - the Ever Living Personal Guru. It is totally their misfortune that they are wandering in wilderness, and groping in utter darkness.
